oh no! they gotta at least let you make bread. that’s nuts. (what exactly does
“strongly suggest” mean? maybe you can still do it? or at least some?) that sucks.

We’ll see. I called them to talk about it, but haven’t heard back. I think I can do smoking and breadmaking, but admittedly sprouting and some other things are probably too much.

Your plans took the desk-pilots by surprise. Don´t give up. Talk to them and see what they will tell you in conversation, outside of the formal notice they sent you (which sounds like a canned answer). Gotta go see the guy who wrote you, ask him to help you find whatever wiggle room there is.
