Pickle Sandwich
Monday, March 8th, 2010Kate is making matzo, cream cheese, and pickle breakfast sandwiches. I just had one as a snack. The cream cheese makes the matzo taste very alive, as normally it’s a cracker that absorbs flavors and hides them away.
Shrimp, Bechamel, Arugula

For dinner I made toasts with some bechamel, shrimp, and swiss cheese. For a salad I tempered onions in water then tossed them with arugula and bok choy. I sat in front of the fire with the cats, reading a guilty pleasure, called ‘The Farseer: Royal Assasin’.
