PICNIC

Picnic is the name of the food cart I’m building. I’ll serve lunch and breakfast in downtown Portland, cooking with local produce and meat and also baking my own bread. Sandwiches will include ham and cheese, fish fillet, bean cake, peanut butter and jelly. Also chopped salads, lettuce salads, and pastries. For breakfast I think I’ll devote myself to bagels. Egg, ham and cheese, veggies and egg, cream cheese, dill and smoked salmon.

The construction of the cart has taken longer then I expected. (You can see I started the blog in the fall of 2008). The current plan is to open in the early spring, when the weather still sucks. I haven’t settled on a location yet, but I’m thinking about somewhere downtown. Shoot me an email if you have anything to say.
